HUH ET LAGG?

hi guys,

i dont get it anymore i keep lagging at ET in EVERY server but its so weird i did all graphic etc to lowest settings but still lagging.

now whats weird ;

this is my lagg meter :


....|,,...|,,....|

( its normall then big lagg that my screen get frozen 1 sec ) then little then normal then in 3 sec again huge lagg how comes?

( also tryed different cfgs but don't help)
(my fps = like 90 normall then when lagg to like 7 then again normall then again low

help plz

u got ugly lagometer. i lagged like hell yesterday too, dunno what was the problem, but 0 lag today<3

Does the size of your ET folder have anything to do with your FPS or lag?

well i dont know for sure but for a long time i've had lag problems with my et and i really couldn't figure what it was. some weeks ago i installed et to my other driver and copied everything from my original et folder except demos, screenshots and stats. so now i went from 30gb -> 500mb and dont have that lag anymore. it could be smth else but if you are lagging its worth of a try.

you should also put et on your C drive (boot disk)

Did the same 2-3 weeks ago. I just rebooted my pc, and cleaned up with some random spyware scanner and deleted all of my demos + screenshots and stuff(from my et folder). And it's fine again.

Delete all the random pk3 files that you dont need

Clear screenshot and demo folder

/cvar_restart;vid_restart ingame
