cant play ET here

hi ive got again a problem with ET.
im at a friend's house and i try to do ET but i see no server + if i connect with ip it goes
waiting ; 1 , 2 etc now i look into etmain and saw this

microsoft office outlook, shouldn't that be something else?
any help to fix it plz

means, that cfg files will be opened with this program
try to fix it, notepad or smth else

I had this problem a long time ago, i think i sorted it by right click properties or something

It has nothing to do with Office, it just means he uses Office to open his text files.

Sounds like firewall problem.

right click, open with, click on notepad, and then fill in the checkbox for always open with this program.
