CGS Players pay change

GameRiot.com recently got their hands on the new player packet for the Championship Gaming Series North America which stated that the current salary of players that will be part of next seasons CGS will be updated.

In the upcoming season of the CGS we will see that each 'franchised player' from each team will earn $31,000, 'protected players' (Maximum of 4 from each team) will each earn $24,000 and the 'rookies' earning $20,000. This means that the franchised players will apparently receive a 3.3% pay rise, protected players and draftees will receive between a 20% and 33.3% pay cut.

Assuming that the UK cgs players get paid the same as the American's we can expect to see UK players pay come to around:

Franchised Player: £15,500
Protected Player: £12,000
Rookie Player: £10,000

For the European CGS players we would expect them to be paid

Franchised Player: 20,666
Protected Player: 16,000
Rookie Player: 13,333

Please note that those figures are just my theoretical speculations.
