so i`m playing with the thought to buy a new mouse, actually i`m using a razor diamondback on a speedlink speedpad.
now my question: is there any compareable mouse with mine (sharp, dpi etc.) so i dont need to get used to it too much!
max. price should be around 50 bugs.
(but plz only mice compareable with my diamondback, i really like the shape its just perfect for my hand)
thx diph

mouse thing is overrated.
You could check out the Razer Krait (max 1600 DPI I believe) though, which is a bit smaller than the DB. Other mice with symetrical shape would be Logitech's G1 (max 800 DPI) or Microsoft's 1.1 or WMO 1.1. (both max 400 DPI)
did u tried the g1? is it that model which allows u to change the weights of the mouse? i pretty liked the shape of it but atm i`m playing with 1600dpi so i think going down to 800 will force me to change my beloved sens :)
That's the G1. It's a pretty simple mouse and you can't change anything at it (I'm not even sure if that driver trick works on it (400DPI without, 800DPI with drivers installed). I've tried it, but sold it a few days later, as it was way too flat for me.
I've tried so many different mice, mousepads or mouseskates http://www.urtier.info/mice.txt and I always went back to the IME 3.0 or later to the 1.1, using an Icemat or the Steelpad SX.
Now it's all about the shape. It seems to be pretty small and the buttons look quiet huge compared to the back part, seems to be an updated version of the Krait.
If you like the shape of it, it should be a good buy, since it pretty cheap with ~30€.
Still can't believe that Razer was basically dead 3 years ago and now they are a big player in the peripheral device market. :)
at that time it was a great mouse
+ they found the hole in the market: a mouse for lefthanded peoples
(i'm not that kinda person that smashes a mouse down after fullspawn or something :p)
