Journals
IS better 400 or 1600 dpii ??
» Your journal body must be at least 40 characters long. You currently have 32 characters.

so if you have 1600 dpi and you move your mouse 1 inch your actual input is limited to half your vertical res and half your horizontal res..
lower, bettar
if youre using 1280 x 1024 then halve each to see how many pixels from the centre to the edge and you can move up to 640 x 512 per polling of input
if youre using 2000 dpi and you move your mouse 1 inch in the time it is polled itll carry over (2000-640=) 1360 pixels of movement to the next one
hence you get accel where the crosshair moves AFTER you stopped moving your mouse cause the input is limited to the distance you can drag your cursor from the centre until it is reset to the centre of the screen
so basically in et lower dpi is always going to be a better idea, and r_mode 6 or more is a good idea too
++WARNING++
+WARNING+ THIS IS A VERY SIMPLIFIED VERSION OF FACTS +WARNING+
I use native speed of mouse in windows ( 6/11) so I can't use 1600 dpi as it moves uber quickly on deskop.Apparently If I lower
win sens ,that will lower DPI aswell.So I sticked to 900 dpi as it doesn't cause neg accel.
Somehow high res.high DPI for me :)
