ontopic: the laptop seems pretty good, but for that kind of money you could also buy some highend desktop right?
anyway, i'd choose a desktop over a laptop, but not THAT desktop
intel c2d e8400
8800 gt 512 (2x)
2gb
rather go a cheaper p35 mobo + 1 8800gt or 512mb gts.
since i already have a decent desktop, i'd take the laptop
if youl take laptop ! small,slow,shit :)
deskop is a proper PC (unless you use it only for browsing web)
rest 2nd ofc (very n1, but shit gpu)
You can o.c. the E6600 @ ~ 3.6 - 4 Ghz if you got good steppings
Other wise 2nd cuz laptops are just handy.
Seeing laptop's perform considerably worse even when they have similair components... OC-ing a laptop is pretty much a bad choice cuz of heat production, plus expanding one is pretty much a no-go.
Laptop's are pretty mobile idd, but they are actually quite heavy. Walking around with one the whole day does get annoying...
But it's your choice rly, want to play new games @ high settings go for desktop. Wanna have mobility and play games @ decent settings then you're laptop would work just fine ;)
no..i'd rly go for a lappy =)
nice desktop imo playing on laptops sucks :P
enough?!
but if u got a laptop + external keyboard
laptop > desktop :D
in that case u got less harddrive space and a lower graphic card in the latop. Just make your own decision now. Want to have more performance or want to be mobile...
