widescreen sees more

Just found this old img we made while playing CoD2

nev's 5:4 screenshot up top (1280x1024)
my 16:10 screenshot below (1680x1050)

wanted to see just how much more you see on widescreen, after one two many incidents of me shouting "OMG HES AT YOUR LEFT CANT YOU SEE HIM?" to get a response of "No... wtf..."

well, you can't change fov in CoD2, but yes in ET someone with 4:3 can see as much as me, but they have a more "zoomed out" view
