irc scripting...

Since iam a lazy bastard, and i dont always want to type/copy vent or server infos, i thought that there must be a way to solve this with scripting, similar to the binds in et for example.
Iam having something like this in mind:
i type for example /vent and the ventinfo is pasted in the chat.
same goes for the et server ip and pass...

Can somebody link me a tutorial of the irc "language" or maby even make me such a script?
