before you say omg no a e8400 no i dont want that : P
125fps stable et? and cod4? + will this board take the new 45nm quads?
680i mobos are outdated (not sure, but may have problems with new 45 cores)
you will get much more performance from single 9600/8800GT/GTS(512mb) than from SLI 8600... so go for P35 mobo, should be much cheaper but no SLI support. (780i sli's are pretty expensive afaik, but if you get one, then 2x9600/8800GT would ve really awesome)
Get bigger HDD, 2x320gb or smting, should cost around the same
Why the fuck do you need 2 DVD drives?
8600=shit
8600+8600=2 pos
go for 9600(should cost little more than single 8600) as it's as good as 8600 SLI (LOL) or even better 8800GT/GTS
SLI barely gives any boost so just buy an 8800 GT/GTS.
