SteelSeries 5L

I heard not once somehow it is similar to QPAD CT, both cloth pads and both almost in same thickness, well what do you think about SteelSeries 5L is it worth to buy it as combo with Razer DeathAdder?

I have the 5L here at work. it's a good pad, though it's not a cloth pad in the classical sense since it has a hard plastic bottom.

comparing to QPAD CT is it much better than SteelSeries 5L itself, is it worth to buy it as a combo with Razer DeathAdder?

both are good pads, you can't label the 5L better than the CT or vice versa. a pad is and will always be personal preference. I like both pads. The combo of deathadder with 5L is something I can't really give an accurate opinion on since I never played with a deathadder on the 5L, but I assume that since the deathadder on a qpad ct works fine, it will also work fine on a 5L.

but as with any gear, take the stuff that you feel most comfortable with.

dunno, i bought qpad ct yesterday: it's a bit bigger than 5L, and i like precision and mouse movement on qpad more than on 5L.maybe that's bcoz im used to cloth pads and 5L has a thin plastic coating so i don't rly feel the mouse well on it. + CT is more durable afaik

I use the Deathadder together with the 5L and has done so for quite some time. It's awesome.

I've tried a bunch of other pads together with the Deathadder (the fUnc 1030, QPAD XL, Steelpad S&S etc) but the 5L has by far had the best feeling of precision and control while not being too slow.
