QuoteSerial ATA (SATA) hard drives are quickly becoming the new standard in hard drive technology. Motherboard manufacturers now include SATA inputs on their boards. Because of their considerably narrower cables, SATA hard drives provide increased airflow and less clutter and in the computer system compared to EIDE drives. Some older computer system motherboards don’t have SATA ports, but a PCI SATA controller card can be installed to add support for SATA drives. If you don’t know whether your computer has SATA ports on the motherboard, refer to your computer or motherboard documentation or contact the motherboard manufacturer. (copyed from WD page)

QuoteThis motherboard supports the next-generation hard drives based on the Serial ATA (SATA) 3Gb/s storage specification, delivering enhanced scalability and doubling the bus bandwidth for high-speed data retrieval and saves. The external SATA port located at the back I/O provides smart setup and hot-plug functions. Easily backup photos, videos and other entertainment contents on external devices.

as far as you can read here are those 2 products totally compatible

edit: need to check about that prob with Nine Hundred (afaik there is a problem only with Enermax PSUs)

i would agree but i am too lazy to read that novel
Looks good, but change the ram to cheapest one, they're all same shit and just make sure its 800mhz. nP
mega wrong, you get what you pay for with ram.
Parent
umm, not. if you aint overclocking it doesnt mean a shit, g.skill or transcend, who cares. just dont take kingston it sux.
Parent
Have learned from experience of buying shitty ram, that it just isn't as good, the ram I have now isn't the best.
Parent
well, what have you bought and what are you using now?
Parent
I bought OCUK basically the site were I bought my pc from own brand ram, Think I had some kingston at some stage to! on older pc's
Parent

change your psu for a seasonic m12 500 watts it's enough or the zalman hx 520 watts (it's a seasonic resticked) and a Noctua NH-U12F or Noctua NH-U12P.
maybe he wants to upgrade in the future, then he will need to replace his PSU also (since graphics cards keep getting more power hungry)
Parent
Yea if he has money for it, mine is 700 Watts ! xD
Parent
easier to buy a good PSU for the future now.
Parent
good pc mr dj
