I finally managed to watch the movie named Babel and what can I say - it sort of blew me away. Some that have seen it may find it boring, but I liked it (I loved Lost in Translation too), especially the parts playing in Japan, not solely because of the tits and pussy but mainly because I am a convinced part-time weaboo.
It almost never made think "Oh c'mon that was stupid or unrealistic" like other movies do (expect that kid outaiming Vassily Zaitsev in the beginning). The acting is mostly stunningly good and convincing although there were hardly any real known western actors apart from Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett (which played a surprisingly small role afterall). The Soundtrack is awesome, mixing Arabian, Japanese and Mexican music.
This movie will instantly and constantly one of my favourite movies, though it doesn't feel like you have to watch it often. It lasts as a very remarkable impression.
