Not every episode of SP on any season has all been funny, so i wouldnt worry too much about 1 bad episode

Season openers are supposed to be good!

eg

5x01 - the "shit" episode
6x01 - the jared/aides episode
7x01 - alien taco that craps ice cream
8x01 - kyles negroplasty
9x01 - the anime pisstake with all the ninja stuff
10x01 - super adventure club
11x01 - niggerguy

12x01.... The fact that I can remember the last 7 years of season openers speaks volumes for their quality, this episode was not on par with any of them.

its hard to keep up with perfection :'(

Were always some bad episodes in southpark, but I expect the overall quality to be high as usual. I guess back in the times of 9/11 and osama (season 5) were my favourite seasons, especially if you watched them a week after the events the ridiculed on.
