vegas problem help meeh

Hello,

I have an avi filed (compressed with xvid) and I need to delete the end. The problem is when I open it with vegas, the video track doesn't appear (I can only see the audio track).

How can I make the video track visible?

uncompress it with vdub

So I re-render it as a normal avi in vdub, right?

Render it with that hufy codec thingy, the lossless one.

should be fine after that

I don't have the uncompressed avi anymore, so i can still render the compressed avi with that hufy codec and then i will see it on vegas again?
