Vista problem during the boot part

So when I'm trying to install Vista, after the boot part ( "Microsoft Corporation" with that loading bar below) it blocks at that green screen. I waited like 20 mins and no change, the screen remains like this :
image: Vista%20Aurora
I tried the x86 version+some other editions also and there's the same problem.

I don't need answer like: "XP rocks! Vista sucks!".

Thanks in advance.

always stupid to say that, cuz then they will spam it even more x:
Can you enter the Task Manager in that state? Ctrl+alt+del, you could try terminating and re-starting explorer.exe or something.

I've had similar problems with Vista, but after the installation has been completed. Restarting usually helps, but once I had to take a system restore in safe mode to be able to access the desktop again.
As i said the setup doesn't even start so it happens when the green screen appears the first time. Like 3 mins after you press any key to boot from cd. :)
