need help with electro

Hi, i need some info and charactrestics about highpass and lowpass filters and a bandfilter.
I am talking about capacitors and inductors in a serial circuit.

Ohh, that is not my area.

I could tell you a lot about low-, high- and bandpass filters within sound processing.

hmm we are working with the dB scale. At the bypass area of a filter you are at the "-3dB" point, about that i need info

That is when talking about bandpass filters right?

Because (in audio, which AFAIK is almost the same as in electronics) a bandpass filter has a center frequency and the bandwidth of the filter is measured at -3 dB.
