Linux Ubuntu

Ok, so there's something wrong.

I wrote the boot cd, booted it @ my pc, when I do the first option (which I need) it loads for a while, then the screen turns black with a white _ icon flashing (indicating text, which I can't write), I hear the sound play, but stuttering, and then my pc continues to make noise for a while (the pc itself, not sounds from ubuntu or smth), but the screen stays black with that cursor and nothing else happens.

I tried burning it to another cd too, @ 8x speed, but also didn't work.

I tried changing the language, I tried changing the resolution n stuff, checked my memory, checked the cd with the built-in option, all doesn't work :<

I'm using the amd64 version, and I have an amd4200+ 64bit processor, so that should be fine right?

HELLUP!!!

"I hate cheaters so bad, the hate comes from so deep in my heart, that if I meet one in real life, I'll cut his fingers one by one, then use those fingers to assfuck and skullfuck him, then let him eat em, then I'll cut his leg off, assfuck him with it, whip his head with it, then I go sit on his face and I shit in his mouth, then I slowly cut his neck open, shit in it, and then use his head as a bowling ball, then I start kicking his body until I broke every bone, and then I use the bones to scrape his intesties out of his belly, and I use his darms to make a nice mustache at his face."

Try to boot the CD without the silent option. How exactly that's done on ubuntu i don't know, but check the documentation. Then you might get some more clues on what's wrong.

If that doesn't help you, you could try shotgun debugging (randomly trying different options)

nofb noapic

Or just ask google
