what to do ? !

ok so what should i do:
i have AMD Athlon 64 3000+ and 1gb RAM

now i can choose between
- AMD Athlon64 4000+
or
- another 1gb ram

i have to pay nothing so i can't loose anything but i wanna do the best :)

wtf cant you understand, i said upgrade cpu and then i said ''i have the same cpu and i upgraded to 2 gige ram and nothing has changed'', obviously i didnt said ram cause i already mentioned he should upgrade his cpu

RAM only benifits at some parts depending on O/S and applications

CPU gives overall more performance , especially in games

E: I would recommend a Dual-Core though
