now, that punkbuster has been proven to be one epic failure, et doesnt have a trustable anticheat program anymore.
so what is going to happen to et after this?
is it now going to die even faster?
nc just bit their own tail imo. if et dies, noone is going to buy their privatehacks for et anymore, and i think that they earn quite a lot of money with etcheats.

so, whats going to happen now?
is etace going to save it all in time?

ET is boring, was nice to see some action in it! imo ET needs something new. new maps, new anticheat, new etpro. personally I think et would be fucking awesome if it was played on Last man standing :) ofc u could plant bomb! without spam(excludes nades).. and maybe even 5on5! it would increase teamwork and it would make it more exciting especially for spectators etc.

you never played lms? I used to play lms alot on chickens farmhouse, played it like 4 hours atleast every day, it never got bored. it is just awesome!

oh pls, im not talking about cs or cod here.. althought they arent boring. I tell what is boring, playing 6 maps (3hours) in a row with fucking 20 mins fullholds =D and only thing you are dying to is spam. idd ET is very exciting sometimes when both teams knows how to attack.

you ever played LMS? doubt it. I think that was the reason I didnt stop ET back in the days. just with some fixes it would been perfect to play in clanwars. and 6on6 is just too much for LMS tbh. I think 5on5 would be perfect for it. and ofc it improves the chances to get more lans for ET.

just imagine a situation where you would be alive alone from your team, tosspot shoutcasting. 3 guys from the enemy's team coming to obj and you take them all down and round win for you!

so.. just try it out before you say no to it!

I played both CS and CoD and i think they are really boring. The enemy camps 24/7 and if you die u need to wait like 20 minutes until the end of the round.

And yes i played LMS a lot with mates. Yes it's quite fun but it's become boring after some time.
Anyways not a bad idea, but can't i image it :)
But ofc in 6on6 with spam :)

.... seems like you played cs and cod in pubs. cs atleast have like 1:45 time for one round and flashlights are camperkillers -_-. pros dont camp in cs. I think same counts to cod too.

and same for LMS, you played it on pub where everybody just camped and it got bored. Chickens farmhouse had players who never camped it felt like playing a clanwar, always worked as a team (coz most of the players were from mutilation-clan including myself). it just owned <3

im not saying that ET should be like that. it might have 2 competive sides, LMS and SW. likes some other games have DEATHMATCH, S&D etc. too. in my opinion we should give it a try. im already planning to make something up with madscientist

Yes u were right, i only played CoD @ pubs, but i've played some CS & CS:S wars. And it was shit for me :D

In ET when i was playing LMS it was like 10-15 mates and me made 2 teams and connected on ventrilo & et priv server and we played "seriously" I say it was fun 'n stuff but this became boring after 2-3 games.

EDIT: I don't say ur ideas are shit or smth. I would try them out ofc, but i see more fun in spam & 6on6 than in 5on5 without nades and if u die after ur spawn firstly it's boring to spec the teammates :D

guess you havent played cs enough then. atleast im playing med-high games almost every day and I've recognized that If I camp I get soo owned.. I have to move all the time, lots of rushes and stuff like that even @ defensive side.

that might be your opinion about LMS, maybe you played it wrongly. atleast I had more fun with it than I had ever with SW. and I think that LMS would make ET even more skillful and teamplay based game.

LMS is idd fun especially as it makes the medics actually revive you. need more ammo etc though, but it would be interesting running it along side SW as another type of gameplay yes. the cfg would have to be very different though :)

Well, just as PB is proven to fail, it is one of the only true cheat stopers, sure its a bag of wank as i've said before.
Its obvious PB have stopped been funded by id, splash damage... or whoever but if they were to get some money again am sure they would update again and dont see why they wouldnt redo the PB system so this wouldnt happen again.

I was checking the evenbalance website to see how it works, how much they get paid for a game and found jack shit. so i guess i would have to email them - but i stubled upon this http://ssl.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=registry.php this (if no one has seen/heard about it before) is a name that shows next to your PB_GUID. You have to pay for it.
So i was thinking if we was to pay for this, am sure this is acting like a CDKEY is it not? you couldnt get away with this if you were caught cheating that would be it, you've lost your "account"

But this is a 10 second idea, and since everyone now hates PB its pointless :/
