HELP!!
I cant connect to a ventrilo when its version 3.0
keep getting this:
I can connect to 2.1 or 2.2 :O..

Are you sure the ip and stuff of the server is right?
your mates gave you wrong ip on purpose. they dont really want you there.

check if your firewall blocks vent...happened to me before <3
