Radio effects

I need to make a 10 minute radioshow for a school assignment and I was wondering if any of you guys had some idea's or something about how to make some nice effects. You know, the typical radiojingles or weird voice effects or any thougts in general might help :)

The subject of the show is Jimi Hendrix and his style and influence on music btw

You could record some oldschool TV jingles if you like, dunno whether or not they are useful though. (from old american movies for instance)

I have no possession over one I can think of atm

well we need to give some infos on the greatest guitarplayer of all time so I thought it could be nice to fill it up with those sounds

He's not the greatest guitarplayer of all time, He just invented alot of techniques and effects. And he his style was unique in his time and I think it still is.
