windows xp professional newinstallation(ger allowed)

hey girls & guys,

here we go again.. i want to do the above named and have the following prob.
my pc dont want to boot from cd, i dont have floppy anymore.
so how the hell i can now boot from the cd to run a newinstallation.??

edit: i changed boot order in bios but it didnt work...

edit3: okay here i am again... after burning it as bootable cd it worked at the beginning. while beginning copy all the files, it says some r missing (e.g.: admparse.dll.mui) i googled and it says, these r files for ie7 which i wont use anyway...
dunno if other files r missing. i interrupted it for now.
what to do now?

pls let ger allowed, because im noob in that and dont want to crush my pc :DD

you have to set it in bios

something with boot order, set CDROM drive first then harddrive etc

had it to ones to, the only way for me was putting a ''windows home edition cd'' in it and erasing my hd with it and then insert xp pro

Well,if file was in image file (like .iso) or smth, you should first mount it, open nero and burn it with cd copy (like from CD to CD)...should work. Dunno how you downloaded it,but I think the problem is in the way u burned it (maybe you burned it like a compilation)

If you set the bootlist correct and not working download a bootable installdisk...;)

Or make your install disk bootable

If you check the 2nd pic from the jor. you'll see this is a home-made xp...(maybe nlite) so i think the image isn't bootable...

ofc you can make it with an another cd/dvd-writer software too;)

I use ashampoo so i can help you in this one.

Or use the nlite to build a new bootable image without any changes...this is easy too.

Just skip! I don't know from where do you get this install disk but this isn't a pure xp! So i hope who made it knows the system and you won't miss this file later;)

(or after the install an IE update but it would be lovelier if you could use firefox^^)

had this once. i fixed it like this:
disconnect cable from HD. it boots from cd when there is: press any key to start from cd, connect cable to hd again and then it worked 4 me. try it on ur own risk fo sho

have you finalised CD after burning? Some drives especially on notebooks have problems booting with unfinalised discs.

P.S. If you burn in Nero Express, you need to untick "Make this disc multi-sessional" or if you use Nero Burning ROM tick "Finalise the disc" or smth like that.

machs jedenfalls nochmal neu tbh... formatieren alles und ned fast format auswählen..ganz normal. am besten du holst dir ne funktionierende xp version von einem freund tbh!

also soweit ist alles jetzt drauf (auch nur einmal), backup aufspielen hat auch gefunzt, das prob ist dass mir der pc keine ip adresse vergibt also automatisch und bei manuell wüsste ich net, was ich eintragen soll, smoit kann ich kein liveupdate machen von treibern usw. neues windows drauf nur kein prog läuft.

netzwerkdings reparieren funzt ned? wie bist denn zum inet verbunden? direkt oda via router? ip adresse - musst die bei deiner verbindung selbst eintragen oder kriegst die zugewiesen? sollt doch vom provider her funkionieren... dann hast jetzt kein inet @ home so lang das ned geht? versteh ich dich richtig?

naja wennst einen router hast, dann teilt er dir wahrscheinlich irgend eine "fremde" ip adresse zu...die nicht in seiner range liegt..kommst auch nicht aufs router-interface via webbrowser? (192.168.0.1 meistens...)

dann gibts 2 möglichkeiten...router resetten - musst jedoch anschl. wieder alle provider einstellungn (meist eh ein kinderspiel) neu eintragen. oder du teilst dir selbst eine ip adresse zu, die in derselben range wie der router liegt, im obigen falle dann halt 192.168.0.5 zB, um das DHCP im router zu aktivieren und dann stellst weider um auf ip adresse automatisch beziehen.

okay inet hab ich, hatte nur falsche ip eingegeben, aber ich glaub nen paar sachen fehlen, z.B. granz großer mist ich hab eine festplatte mit c und d partition..nach löschen von c, hat er die buchstaben neu vergeben.jetzt ist windows zum slave geworden und heisst jetzt e. und meine datenpartition ist jetzt c :///

und mein raid controlle rhab ich noch net installiet

rechtsklick auf Arbeitsplatz (am desktop) -- Verwalten -- Datenträgerverwaltung (da kannst laufwerkbuchstaben neu zuteilen - inwiefern das aber die hierarchi ändert, kA)

okay raid controller habsch auch installiert.

dann neues prob. beim installieren von monitro driver sagt er er hat keine verbind zum rpc server. kA :o

Start--Systemsteuerung--Verwaltung--Dienste--"RPC-Locator", "Remoteprozeduraufruf (RPC)" und/oder "DCOM-Server-Prozessstart" neu starten.
