16:10 fov changer n stuff

if any1 would explain me why the fov with widescreen is diff from normal monitors =s i don't really get it.
i mean ok, u have a wider field of view, but thats just the adddition of some pixels at the sides...which doesn't effect the ET fov...why should fov of 90 on normal monitor be 100 on a widescreen?

Because we specify fov with the horizontal measurement, you need to change fov when going into or out of a wide screen mode. I am considering changing fov to be the vertical measurement, but it would probably cause a lot of confusion if "fov 90" becomes a big fisheye.

I use 16:10 (1680x1050) in ET and i haven't problem with the fov 110 or 90... Do you set the custom resolution or just one of the 4:3?
i've set a custom reso (1440x900 + forced 75hz since it only supports 60hz)
