Wedding + Going home soon

In 1,5 hours (that would be around 3 hours African time), I'm going to a wedding. I've got a nice invitation, but there's only one problem: I barely know the name of the groom. No clue what either of them look like, and tbh they all look alike :|
I've bought a present tho, that's how nice I am..
Guess smiling and pretending to know them will do. Has served me well for some months now..


Anyways.
On next sunday evening I'm jumping on the train to Yaounde (which takes somewhere between 12 and 20 hours, depends), then stay there until tuesday evening, take a plane to Nairobi (via Douala) in the night, then sit on Jomo Kenyatta Airport for 15 hours, then another night on a plane for Amsterdam, then Oslo, then Stavanger, the latter because of a ticket fuckup.. So on Thursday, i'll be kissing the earth in Norway again.

It feels kinda strange, especially the fact that my home country seems so remote just now, and going home just feels crazy.. It marks the closure to the best 6 months so far in my life, and I hope to come back here again one day.

PS: To put up with the grief of leaving here, I ordered a kickass laptop to comfort me when I come back home..
