accelero s1

just installed a new videocard cooler, arctic cooling accelero s1
totally passive on a 8800gt and idle temp 35c, load temp 55c.
my earlier cooling was total shit, was so fucking loud it was hard to be @ the PC and it was 50c at idle and 75c or so load. now I can barely hear my PC and temps are much better, ac s1 is amazing. everyone buy it. :D

1 lowspeed 120mm fan is enough tbh since it's already so good in passive

can you even fit 2 120mm fans on it? are you sure they aren't 92mm or sth? :p

i'll take a pic later and yes, it's 2 120mm fans.
my card is voltmodded, still one fan would have been enough, i simply had one to spare. might give me another 3 degrees advantage :D

yep, bestbuy for that price and quite nice...adding 120mm vent on it will decrease temps even more, and u wont really hear it

ye i'll put a 120mm 5v on it tomorrow, don't have anything to put it on atm (gonna go buy some straps or some shit)

nah I'll use a 120mm fan that came with my case, it's silent in 5v anyway and s1 won't need much airflow
btw i was thinking of buying scythe s-flex for my case, you have it? any good?

to cool it off in idle (after being in load, the temps stay at 50c since it's just a giant radiator, with some air blowing onto it it will cool down to normal idle temp) + to blow some air onto the mosfet cause i don't have any heatsinks on it, a 120mm fan on 5v won't make any noise so why not use it :)
