my cpu was 26, other thingies 36, then my audio was 129 all the time, k :D it was broke

IMO If he use speedfan and minimize the game the CPU temp will get down in a second, so he'll not see the ingame CPU temp
Dunno what coretemp does, but if you can get such a program to log to a text file, you can process that log into a config file like "say CPU temp: 56 degrees" and "bind T exec temp.cfg" from your autoexec. There's your ingame temp monitor ;)

But even if it was showing F its broken since it always shows the same.
Turn it on, play a bit and check the Temp log.txt in the coretemp folder =F
