Hi,
Just wanted to know how does support fire work.
I always just throw supports somewhere where i think the enemy will come, but I never understood the logics behind the direction and line in which the support fire Occurs.
Can someone explain me in detail how support fire works.. like if I put the can in X how do I know in which position y1 will the bombing start and in which position y2 will it end.

You stand at the bottom of the T and the top bar across the T is the support direction :(

so how i understand it now.. and Ive tested it .. that the line in which the support fire will occur can be represented in the letter T.. where the top is the support fire.. and the bottom of the letter is where you r standing and the middle of the top is where the support can is..
although one must keep in mind that the "letter T" is confirmed when the man on the radio tells you On my WAy! or affirmative.. and will draw the "letter T" from the position that you r found at that moment..
one thing I dont know yet is what decides if the support fire will occur from left to right or right to left..

smoke always goes the same direction on every map, just like weapons face the same direction when on the floor etc.
left to right, right to left, Im unsure, never really paid too much attention to finding that out as it makes around a 0.2 second difference (and of course, theres the preshock before the strike)
i'd suggest you all stfu since your not rijkaard's!

but i know a bit aswell
so 1) u need to check for the wind, if there is too much wind the pilot wont through the bombs
2)if u press lean left + lean right very fast again and again the airstrike comes heavier cuz of a bug
Most important thing you have to keep in mind is that it doesn't matter how you throw it and it doesn't matter where you stand at the moment you are throwing the can. The only thing that matters is your position when the airstrike is confirmed. Meaning, you can throw the can and then change your position fast.
For example: if you throw a can down on supply, facing the depot gate, if you keep standing still, the airstrike will go parallel to the depot wall/gate. But if you throw the can the same way and then quickly run to east or west, the airstrike will hit in a 90 ° angel of the depot wall, hence it also will cross the wall and hit inside the depot.
