Yea buy it, then send me riflemousev2! thx:)
Antec p182 rocks dude ! im waiting for new pc whit p182 silver :D and imo procesor Q9450
dont take nvidia chipset
commodore is the future!!

U can thank me later
Go for new Q9xxx quadcores, old Q6600 is old. Also drop some more money into more powerfull PSU, as you got SLI mobo for SLI setup :).
Almost exactly the same as me :>
get e8400 CPU + OCZ 2GB DDR II 800 / 4-4-4 (2 x 1GB)
totally agree.
Value ram sux
Quad Core is useless atm and the e8400 > *

Only memory i can get is Kingston (work issues)
It's HyperX DDR2 but the description was just wrong :)
Parent
;p

Value is the worse choice expecially for a gamer :o)
Parent
if ur gonna get a SLI mobo then get 2x9600gt imo
otherwise get 8800GTS 512mb and a x38 or p35 mobo (better performance and overclock, less problems than nvidia chipset)
Asus P5K PREMIUM/ WIFI-AP ATX socket LGA775 Intel P35 4DDR2(Dual Channel)
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P motherboard LGA775 P35 ATX DDR II 1066
Parent
sli is for noobs!

You should think about a more powerfull powersupply. Hiper 730watts > *

Change the PSU
Get a 620W corsair or seasonic, or if those are too expensive (out of a 5 ball system they'd get 5) get a 600 / 500w fortron (4/5, still good but better price/performance ratio)
Parent
What's wrong with antec? :x
Parent
it's a shitty noname brand, dont save on your PSU, it'll kill your whole system.
it probably doesnt even output 550w if it's some random PSU, more like 300 or so
80%+ efficency and known PSU's only.

edit: oh you edited, you mean antec

well they arent known for their PSU's, i'd still get a more reliable Fortron for the same price probably
Parent
If you think antec is a shitty noname brand, i won't take any of your replies as trustworthy :)
Parent
at first you said ANTECH, then you edited. i thought it was some other brand as there are alot of brands with tek and tech, then i wrote my post and saw your edit, so I edited:
"edit: oh you edited, you mean antec

well they arent known for their (lower-mid end) PSU's, i'd still get a more reliable Fortron for the same price probably"
Parent
My bad, but sometimes my fingers don't follow my mind ;)
From what I read in reviews, it's a pretty nice PSU
Parent
well anyways that PSU should be totally fine, BUT if you can find a corsair or fortron chieftec for the same price i'd go for those :)
Parent
Rest seems ok for you? :)
Parent
yea, but the mobo is pretty pointless if you don't need the extra features it gives you (inbuilt wifi and should be some more stuff, i dunno exactly)
if you dont want wifi then i'd get asus p5k-e , or msi p35-neo2-fr.
Parent
only can get:
Asus P5K-E/WIFI-AP ATX socket LGA775 Intel P35 4DDR2(Dual Channel) (60€ cheaper)
Parent
well, look up the premium board and see if it has any features over the P5K-E that you would like.
Parent
btw i read about these boards a bit and seems to me the p5k-e is a better choice, the premium has 1 more dimm mosfet, 1 more ethernet port and the p5k-e has a simpler heatpipe setup, everything else is pretty much the same.

8800gt MSI overlocked > 8800gts
abit > *µ
Hiper / enermax / corsair > antec
Parent
yeah, paying 15 euros more for less powerfull but overclocked card is....AWESOME!

epic fail
Parent
Look the tests :)
Parent
less powerfull ? .. source ?
Parent
...

read any 8800GTS G92 review

here some random charts - http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/12/12/geforce_8800_gts_512_mb/page14.html

buying more expensive, weaker, but overclocked card, over less expensive, more powerfull and still having overclocking potential is, as i said earlier, awesome!

as i understand u want to take 4 gb or ram, but if u want to take this u should use vista 64bit cuz xp or vista 32bit can only handle 2/3 of ram u want to buy tbh...
XP takes max 3.2 but i don't know what to use in the near future
Parent
actually vista is the best way cuz its still developing imo, but u can also have 2 systems ( 1 craked for example) or sth :D
Parent
nice, but try to find ram with lower latencies!
latency doesn't count as much as mhz on intel systems. 5-5-5-15 on 1050 is much better than 4-4-4-12 on 800 (took my memory clocks as an example)
