Lyrical fail when changing gamma

i typed r_ignorehwgamma 0

vid_rest

then r_gamma 3 + enter

and i got that : SetDeviceGammaRamp Failed

and im left with dark gamma 2 :/

any ideas apart from changing cfg ?

ofcourse you cant get superhighgamma, your eyes will explode from all the light the monitor shines

oh this ramp thingy...my roommate had this aweek ago and couldnt fix it

he reinstalled ET after trying everything else on his gfx-drivers

It's something in your cfg, I had the same problem.

i should have done my own cfg ...i took someone's else instead.now
ive got all that shait :P
