ET Problem - FPS and Usage

Alright so ET used to run fine when suddenly it opens up and has fps lag all the time, it has 30 - 50 when walking around, but goes to 10 in firefights and wont go higher... Also its usage is always around 800,00k - Starts at 200 then goes up to 800 within one minute... Help? :(

use the search. its supposed to be a pb related prob that is yet to fix.
pb is still trying to get us all out of free ET to the advantage of E:QW e.g.
ps: reboot does it for me :)

whats your com_hunkmegs? dunno if it might be that but when i set that to 1024 i have a similar problem :P no idea if it has anything to do with windows xp which cannot assign more than 768MB to a process? ;x

hunkmegs are 512 and always have been, turning it down doesn't help either

it can,
you have to set "priority" on realtime

i can use 1,5 gb for my counterstrike source ^^
but i heard it isnt working with ET
