converting stuff

I download Heroes season 2 and i want to put it on a DVD for a buddy of mine, but all the files are .avi
I read that you need to convert the files to DVD in order for a DVD player (or PS3 in this case) to be able to read the files.. i downloaded ConverXtoDVD but it's sooo fucking slow! the season contains 11 episodes and to convert 2 episodes (in the trial version) it takes like 40-50 mins.

now is there any other faster converting program or isn't there just a way to NOT convert and still let a DVDplayer read the files?

hm try www.mininova.org or www.isohunt.com and look for full version, maybe its faster :x

get a dvd with divx support thats the easiest way.
and yes I do believe it takes pretty long to convert avi => DVD
depends on ur pc configuration partly

tbh. convertxtodvd is the best program out there, and remains to be. Just wait.

is it normal it took ~1h25mins to convert 2 episodes of lost? :p

yea, my convertor also takes 1hour to conver to episodes of the O.C.
