Got new monitor

just bought new monitor and u may call me idiot retard whatevah... cause its a LCD :S

This lower than 100hz are really hurting my eyes i hope i get used to it soon.. will I?

They are referring to the way pictures are projected. CRT's project images a number of times per second (refresh rate), leaving black gaps in between. A low refresh rate will cause the screen to flicker as there's to much gaps in between projected pictures.

LCD's draw an image which stays on the screen untill a new frame is drawn, at which time pixels change color.

Btw LCD cant hurt your eyes (much) thats why it has 60ish only

CRT can , especially at low refresh rate

if an LCD is hurting your eyes it's probably cause it's too bright

you can't compare hz from CRT with hz from LCD, i mean the frequency...is just in your mind that you can't get used to it.
