hello i am thinking about to buy this computer i want to have some opinions too :D

Look around for other systems for a lower price, I think that is a bit harsh price wise. Other than that :) good system, but take out the physics card.

The thing is they are calculations, anybody in the right mind would know the new the processor and the technology the faster it calculates. But with games I swear it's a fucking different matter, Intel fan boy idc what you think, I have tried both and yes Intel does do fast pi calcs, but who gives a fuck? wooo my system BENCHES faster than yours, but mine plays smoother :).

I'm an AMD fanboy, but I think intel is winning atm. AMD need to do something to combat the C2D.

Yep as you stated they are winning but on some forums that I visit alot of people have been saying about AMD's new processor as there was a testing one with Intels latest version QUAD and Dual, they ran a AMD mid/high range and it calculted faster, ran higher FPS, and rendered a movie in just over half the time.

lol you think at a testing centre which is ran only for big companies such as overclockersUK website and wholetraders of their products.

They allow anything else to be ran on the computers, they were all running and midified version of Windows.

But I will try and find the post with information for you.

Check abort's comment. Prolly has a lot to do with how programs use several cores at once.

SuperPI is not any relevant anymore as multicore is the future and SuperPI uses 1 core to calculate. wPrime or so is quite a good replacement.
