maybe his PB source isnt value ? or the PB folder isnt @ the games folder more about that i dont knoes

Hi
My mate wants to play ET on his macbook, so he installed ET and all the patches.
All no problem
So he joined a server, but got kicked by PB for some violation
I told him to update PB, but he says it's impossible.
Can someone help me with this?
