Hmm, I've never driven the R32, but I got told the Focus RS is better though even though I class the R32/Focus RS and the Civic Type-r the same thing :D

The 'new' Focus RS may be better.. if they ever release it. I test drove pretty much everything in the class and the Golf spanked everything. Astra VXR, Focus ST, Civic Type R, Alfa 147, BMW 130.. none of them came close! The GTI Edition 30 was a close call, but I fancied 4wd.

whoops it mate.. 30bhp more and almost a second quicker to 60 despite the heavy 4wd. Stig also got it round the topgear track 4.5 seconds quicker than the Focus.
