adobe after effects + megui

I think i'm compressing wrong with adobe after effects..How can i exactly compress uncompressed ?

O and an other problem..after i used megui the color & quality sucks..what settings are good for megui ? I'm using myhannes settings but apparently they suck ;)

something about the avi:

length : 0:10 (test avi)
resolution : 1280 x 720

i had 8 but the "plug-ins" weren't with it lol so basically no effects or transions lol so i got 7 and it worked :D

i only use mine for making rl vids anyways :)

AE is much better for extensive effects work, its basically photoshop for movies. However vegas/premiere are more user friendly when putting the whole thing together and adding sound.

lol just meant that its useless to make full movie with this.
its awesome if you have just 1 clip and render it there, but for longer shits its useless, at least vegas/premiere works better than ae for multiclip projects :<

seems everything u know is not worth it :)

ofc u should add effects and edit in after effects but u should put everything together in vegas or premier. Rendering only in external tools like megui. Do u know something else?

for effects ae is ofc better, but now i think i can recreate 90% of ae effects in vegas (without any plugins)

but if you want edit the video other way, i mean sync it, add hitsounds, get some cameras or anything - for a longer clip ae would not be as good as vegas in this task

thats what i meant till the begining, i think its sick to edit whole movie only in vegas, but its also bad not to use ae at all(provided you ofc know how to use it)

yep did that, but after that i'll add it to vegas, but if i do that the final result is bad quality :\ And if i don't add it to vegas I can't use it to finish the whole movie : O

uncompressed means it doesnt compress anything and the quality is right the same as in after effects...

perhaps u ve just rendered it out wrong? both in vegas and ae...

well...that could be it, but if i render the adobe after effects the avi (1.26 gig ) turns into 500 gig, so im probably not rendering uncompressed right ?

uncompressed means, it is rendered without any codec...
there is nothing more than the fullquality frames put together to an avi...
they are huge...

true, after virtualdub --> 1.27 gig
after aae --> 690 mb
after vegas --> 247 mb
after megui --> 5,13 mb but after megui i have a rly fucked up quality.
So probably my render settings are wrong @ megui ?

composition -> make movie -> render (and u have uncompresed!)

This one is not bad for 720p i think ;P
