What mouse do you have?
I used an everglide titan with my razer diamondback, the surface is pretty good stuff. It gets dirty a bit of course and slightly wears down, but I used it for over a year and I could still use it without any problems
I had Mantis Speed which is same as Everglide Titan for a one year and it was really smooth even after year of using it. Then I bought Qpad CT and it has much less friction than mantis speed but isnt that smooth. So it depends do u want a mat which is really smooth or a mat which has low friction. :)
ive got titan and it's very consistent with a small bit of resistance.ive got this one for 5-6 months and I had 14 months old titan before but i left it in my home town.I will let you know how that one is been doing

the thing is that most people have Qpad and you see more positives
about it than any other comments about titan so it's so tempting to get one !If you have never had it ...buy it first then change :P
was the same up to the moment when i washed it ! was a bit rough
but less resistant (LOL :P ) so dont buy any other colour than black
and don't use water and cloth,though my mate sticked it in washing maschine and when I came over to his place i was suprised that he
still had it (no harm at all ) . I think this mate has got his titan longer than I ,like almost 2 years.Let me ask him when he is avi on msn.
But he used light mouse razer DB + mouseskatez every 2-3 months.
While I was eating drinking on it + heavy mx518 :D
I'm using Everglide Titan DKT for like ~6 mounths now and is still perfect. I used Qpad and after 3-4 months started to shine on the middle, where the mouse was more used. So i highly recommend Everglide, is very resistent.
second. but anyway i think is the same cloth . The only disadvantage would be that it gets dirty very easy. But i think that is because is black so you can easily see the dirt :). Very smooth and very resistent. After more than 6 months is not at all blant . If i wash it prolly you will say it's new :D
I don't recommend the Qpad because after a few months it starts to feel strange in the middle.
i got the first one, rly nice at the beginning. Didnt even wore down, but it got abit dirty, so i cleaned it with alot of soap and water. After that, it got pretty crappy
using Everglide Titan MonsterMat for 3 weeks and I think it's great (Icemat 2nd was too small and that was hard to keep it clean, Titan gives me better control too)
I never washed it and I've got it for like 1 year and 4 months now :D
i use silicon oil to keep it clean ;)

It weares down pretty quick, but after that it's still pretty smooth
