In need of a GPU

So my old graphic card decided to call it a day. I'm lucky enough to have onboard vga, but 1280x1024 in analogue on a 22" widescreen sucks. You can see every frame getting rendered... and that's just for scrolling down on a website.
Now I'm obviously in need of a new card. Requirements:
- CHEAP ( max. ~50 €)
- Needs to get the job done (it's NOT needed for gaming)
- No fucking extra power supply needed (I just wasted one hour trying to get rid of the last one)
I guess that's about it. Any ideas/ recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

you can get an okay gfxcard that's been used for 50 eur but really, dunno what to suggest at that price point thats new. Maybe an ati 2600 pro, or a 7800/7900 GS?
also, does it need to be AGP or PCI-E?
agp cards are older and more expensive
It's a cheap PC I bought almost 3 years ago for my place at the university. It only had onboard vga, so I installed a 9800 SE AIW which I still had. I currently mainly use it for internet, mail, etc. and as a tv (a stream for vlc; I guess that should be the most stressing, ~6mb/s).
you mean dx10? you wont be playing dx10 games anyway with it since the fps would be 5
Besides some cheaper but newer GPUs have passive cooling which will lower overall noise in pc's and your "supercool" old ones will mostly have FAILcoolers. And ofc it should consume less energy and save you some money. So your advice fails.
and yes it's 6th series and nvidia released 9th this year. So yeah, it's kinda old.
I guess I better stay on the safe side and buy the 6200.
AGP HD2600Pro 512MB :D
faster and much better than 7600GS, supports DX10, ATI Avivo HD technology, built-UVD--> plays Blu-ray with significantly less CPU utilization.
Way to go for less than 60€
Buy it :)
a bit above your limits, but hey :>
