Movie opinion!

Hi guys. Im making a movie (yes its true!) and i tried to make a effect to use during full movie. Something like 2 layers (1 for hdr footage and 1 for normal footage with 30% opacity).

Tell me what style you like more:

tj_45fps_dof_cam.avi / tj_30fps_dof_cam.avi

OR

Hdr test (dont look the camera :X:x)

Personally i think that it looks ugly at clips but nice at pictures.

more fps = smoother ofc, but i mean color / ingame feeling... i know that motion blur is good (ego ego ego).

Same here. The 45.45 fps version of my incoming movie will be pwnage. Seems rly smooth. I love high fps :D

(dont forget the 4200 bitrate for HQ clips).

I used xvid for thoose test's but i dont have good xvid settings (that why i have 1mb/s... suchs rly hard, sorry :< )

cant decide, all looking nice!

45fps lagged for me so i`d say the 30 fps one, teh hdr test was to much of it imo..
when is the release of ur movie?

Cant lag! Its a xvid version! Get proper decoders -> http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=tutorial&mode=item&id=65 look my tutorial.. Im sure it works after u try .

It was my 1st hdr test. Will try to do more soon :\

edit: I making the movie, but the content come from a Netherlands trickjumper called xeoxis :P. Coming in some months (its a bit hard now because im working and study at same time. But im very motivated soo). I didnt start record the movie yet because im waiting for a new "thing" for moviemakers :) you will see in some days or week(s).

no its not lagging but video is slower than audio..
but this is not my pc here so i dont want to install tons of progs n stuff.. et is enough :D

cmon dont overhype it :s

dof and quality look nice, work on cams and composition

edit: and dont bother with hdr. maybe only on oasis if you're using a config that eats up lots of the textures

My problem always were the cameras (i have good ideas but i just cant make them... camtrace seems too much for my brain :S ) and edit/sync (i also have nice ideas but i cant make them sometimes). But lets seee

same for me with cams.
if I could magically create cams just like they are in my head, i'd be an awesome moviemaker. :P Maybe the new Camtrace will help, havn't tried it yet :)

I can tell you that my moviecfg dont helps me alot with quality. But the colors , image (motion blur + quality) helps. I also did some tweaks at railgun shader (sky shader and fog shader) to make it look blue-ish.

This is why moviemaker is a moviemaker. Dont ask the comminity about every not important questions. After you made a movie you will get the comments asap. This is an art. No flame!

45 fps is best.. that hdr is kinda exaggerated and u can notice the difference between 30 and 45
