explain
The Razer 3G isn't slippery for me. So why won't I use the Razer 3G all the time? Well I like the DA and I've spent money on it, so I HAVE to use :D They both have the same sensor, or sensor a like. Therefor the Razer 3G is a good replacement for a DA. Well, in my case.
I have both mice, but in my opinion the DA is a bit more superior to the 3G. Could be placebo though. And I think it is, since they both have the same sensor.
Overall it all depends on how you hold your mouse, and what you are used to. I suggest to go to the local store and try them both out.
If you don't want to spend a small fortune on a mouse buy the Microsoft explorer 3.0(has the same shape as the Death adder) or the Intellimouse 1.1
However if you buy one the these, don't use a ridiculously low sensitivity.
But seeing that you are used to the shape of a MX500/MX510, the MX518 is the best choice. I have the MX510 and the MX518 aswell, and it has served me well, but I like the DA more.
