More seriously, any technical or marketing explanations don't matter, 60Hz or 100Hz, best thing to do is go to a TV shop and ask for a test on a TV set with 100Hz activated and not activated, and believe in your eyes.
Some people say they don't like 100Hz mode, some like it, you have to see both to make up your mind...

i heard there is a weird effect with 100hz though, if a car drives behind a dark tree, you suddenly see the chrome of the car in front of the tree
and well, i want to know if its an essential difference to play ps3...
