you actually think i'm going to explain the whole dutch law concerning softdrugs to you?
Basically by law weed is still illegal, yet police doesn't actively enfroce the law so it's permitted in small amounts for private use only. Coffeeshops are being allowed to sell it if they have the proper license (only allowed to have certain amounts and only allowed to sell max. 5 grams to a customer). Buying weed is illegal for the coffeeshops tho (yeh i know weird). And growing weed for the purpose of selling is also illegal and this law is actively enforced. So it's basically illegal for coffeeshops to get their weed but they are allowed to sell it...
