windows zero shutdown

Like for 1 year, I've been lagging for 3 seconds or so every minute. I figured out it's my pc checking for wireless connections some time ago. I've also figured out there's a program called Windows Zero Shutdown, which can actually stop your pc from doing this. Is it trustworthy and does it really work?

Is it rly working? But how can you see "a pc is checking for wireless connections" i want to figur that out also.

the windows thingy to search and connect to wireless networks always searches for new networks

So when you use that zero program shizzle, your pc stops scanning, what actualy can cause ur lag-problem?

dunno where too see it, and yes every pc with a wireless connection is scanning for it( with win xp). np for surfing etc. but gaming with this lags is horrible
and its not scanning ur pc, ur pc is scanning for more networks

Open a file and past this in it:

SC.EXE STOP WZCSVC (with an enter on the end)

Save this file like this: STOPWZC.bat (on your desktop)

Had same problem.

You also have to make the same file but with STARTWZC.

But in the STARTWZC.bat should it be the same line (including stop)?

yes and no, 2 different files:

SC.EXE STOP WZCSVC
and save like STOPWZC.bat

SC.EXE START WZCSVC
and save like STARTWZC.bat

Doubleclick on STOPWZC if you want your PC to stop searching other connexions and otherwise with STARTWZC.
