In the year 2000, we had 1 US dollar for 1.2 euro
1 barrel of oil costs around 60 Dollar.
So that's around 72 Euro
on Average We paid 0.82 euro for 1 liter of gas

Now, 2008, we have 1 US Dollar for 0.65 Euro
1 barrel of oil costs around 110 Dollar.
So that's around 70.1 Euro
On Average we pay 1.25 Euro for 1 liter of gasoile

So if 1 barrel is cheaper (in euros) then back in 2000, why do we pay 50% more for 1 liter of gas!

yesterday was diesel in Slovenia Slovenia 1,13 € , today reached + 0,05 cent so now is 1,18 € ..what sux :XD
..but hopefully i knew it already yesterday so i went to gas station to refull it :P

over here in austria Diesel costs already more than Benzin

I think atm it is
Benzin - 1,29
Diesel - 1,30
or sth like that

well i dont care :D my car needs benzin :>
