it is lolable :D
i ve just read the wakijournal and thought back again about all what happened between nc and pb...
what i dont understand is that childish acting like they would have owned somebody ^^
they just produce a product that still many fools buy for their egoboost or whatever...
but punkbuster just trys its best to keep the competitive gaming fair... nobody cares about public cheaters. well they get a pbban but nothing more. this is amazing how stupid and childish they act...
some weeks ago there was this warning of that drunken nc admin or whoever he was, that pb s gonna die soon and then the gamehack kicks followed... well that had its end finally.
but always (in the nc forum and everywhere) they try to let everybody know how cool they are, that they are supporting the retardness to the max and that they are proud of what they founded...
this is just a normal company that serves the still present requests of using tools to become better because so many of the rL-less naps dont have the talent to play on a decent level in a fair way...
perhaps nC feel the need to convince themselfes everyday again that they are doing the right thing...
its like hooligans boosting themselfes everyday that fighting other hooligans with their fists has a useful point...
i dont care about the fact,people are cheating... they are just making a fool outof themselfes and i think they know it, but who gives a fuck?
the only annoying thingy is this arrogance and wnb fight against punkbuster... for my view this all looks like a kiddyfight in the sandbox liek "u have taken my baggaaaa, die in hell!!!"
plz enlighten me if i have missed something or didnt understand things right

But tbh i dont blame (most of) the admins of nC, because they rnt that stupid imo. look they get money for some cheats which they sell to some noobs/retards. Maybe it sucks for Enemy Territory, but this admins have a familiy aswell...they just do their job

this is perhaps a way to pay people back how they have been treated by the community

I think they hack to compensate the feeling of their worthlessness. It is quite hard when you dont get any attention IRL so they are searching it in the Internet. And if they suck even there, they have to do something against it.
Hacking is just a way to get the aggression out, its like young kids starting trouble at the subway. Nobody listen to them so they have to get their attention. When they hack they feel like god, like they were inviceble.
There is the whole problem, back in past this community (not just CF but ET at all) was like a big family which opened their arms for nearly everyone, nowadays nearly everyone wants to play for the beeing the best. So worse player dont get a chance, and if they are this type of people like listed above, they will buy hacks, to get rid of this problem.
On the other side of this story, we, the non-hackers, are think more and more everyone is hacking. And so noone will get a chance to prove himself. And when everybody is accusing you, you have most likely no problem with buying hacks, since it wont change anything at all.
That are my current cogitations , I hope its understandable. :DD
edit: thought over it again and now i think, that we will never stop pub-haxer. they rly just do it 4 fun imho. they didnt play in any clan/team or patricipating on any cups. We (the community) cant stop pub-hax0rs. Good ani-cheat software could do that. the only thing we can do is to make sure, that we dont pass any chance to a hax0r to play in a team which is participating in any leagues/cup etc
edit2: so u have no prob to play with hax0rs, because u think it will help tp prevent them fom pubs? plz ;>

It's not that I disagree with the initial idea of PB (searching/detecting cheats) its the way it does it.

pb would be far more effective if developers put more time into developing actual cheat detection methods and not shit like searching hard drives for files - rofl

what can i say, even lanhax are being developed, so this must mean that people (SKILLERS) were asking for them... Personally im done with ET, im waiting for rtcw2, , where people have to buy the game to get a serial/gameprofile, so that they could be registered somewhere, so that we can know the people we are playing against, not only in officials but also in random games or publics
