But on the other side, it can happen, important is being honest about it, if it had something to do with relationship (like u feel bored with ur girlfriend or whatever) - then u can find a solution for ur relationship together and look why u felt like cheating on her.
If it was simply a nice feeling that u are attractive for another girl then better not tell her, its ur own fault then and then u have to deal with ur bad feeling imo for urself and make her not suffer for what u have done.
