Monitor Hz.

Should I sync 75 hz with my 76 in game fps (which is max) although my monitor can go to 144 hz? If so, why?

i paly 75hz (lcd) 76fps und 76 maxpackets
id say it works well.

with lcd you don't need to synch, response time compensates

I'm playing at 800x600, 120hz and 125 fps. Anytihng below 120hz ain't smooth anymore for me :[. Not to speak about a TFT

800x600 will still be smoother because there is less pixels

1200x900x128 hz custom reso atm
16x AA makes it much smoother than 800x600
and on long distances less pixel size makes you shoot more precise

i love my good old 19" crt but the screen becomes unsharp and the monitor makes strange piep noises :c

i want to buy syncmaster 931BW which is used @ cdc...

is it good?
