Help Razer Diamondback 3G

Hi guys,

I got the following problem.

After I noticed that Vista is shit I decided to put Windows XP Professional back on my PC.
So I installed the driver of Razer on my pc,but now I got a problem.
When I change something in the customizer like sensitivity or DPI nothing changes.
It's still the same configuration.

I read at the FAQ from Razer this problem,but the solution there doesn't work.

Someone got the same problem and got a solution for it?

does it say "mouse not detected" or smth?

no,i got mouse in my device manager,but with the default windows driver :/

thats normal, it will never show up as a razer diamondback in the device manager. Check if you got the drivers installed, they can be a pain in the ass from time to time.

1) you got razerhid.exe running in the background?
2) my razer db drivers gave me a choice to lower the dpi to 400. If this feature is working the drivers are working 100%. afaik the dropped this feature in later versions of the drivers. I got an old diamondback, the 1600dpi critter not the second edition one with the 1800dpi sensor.

I dont remember diamondback having dpi buttons by default, you can prolly bind that stuff in the drivers. Why not bind the buttons in ET with some sens toggle?

Euhm, can't you check somewhere if you use your driver?
I have Mx510, when I want to use the driver, I have to check a box somewhere to use it.

ye but like i said when i change anything in the customizer nothing happens...like switching between dpi 800 / 1600 :(

maybe.. your mouse can't get 1600 :-o

russian trash advices you to use mx518 instead coz db3g driver is SOOOOO AWFUL
