Today is supposed to be a national holiday here in Holland, but I dno wether I have to work or not, so now I'm just going to work. Had to get out of fucking bed @ 5, in case that I don't need to work I've wasted my whole fucking morning :/

Yes, you have to work on the 5th of may. It's been like that ever since the 1st of october 1990.

Most employees of governmental (if not all) institutions are having a day off and most schools as well. Others (usually larger companies) have an agreement between employer and employee wether you get the day off or not.

Most companies however give you a day off every 5 years.
