switching soundcard/mainboard sound?

hi, my soundcard only got one output.. so i always have to switch between headset & stero & tv manually (putting it out and stick in the other cabel). is there anyway to switch between soundcard & mainboard output @software /windows ?
so i would stick on soundcard my headset and on motherboard the stereo or smth :)

you can define output settings manually in most software, like in winamp output plugin

what id do is buy an audio extrnsion cable for the jack, then just keep them really close so you can plug in w/o going behind the pc.
